  • Donate to WHO/O to keep safe, legal abortion accessible to all!

At a time when our reproductive freedom is under unprecedented attack by anti-choice groups and legislators, your support is needed more than ever. WHO/O depends on funding from private foundations and individuals like you to continue its important work. We are a 501C-3 non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible up to the maximum amount permitted by law.

To contribute, choose a giving level and fill out your contact information. You'll then be redirected to PayPal. You can donate via PayPal even if you don't have an account - just check out as a guest.

If you would like someone else to get a thank you note on your behalf please email

WHO/O supporters can also commit to recurring donations or create a long-term giving arrangement. Please email Stephanie at for more information on donation options and how you can customize your giving.

    Legislative Testimony

We are active advocates for reproductive justice in Ohio and have testified before the Ohio General Assembly on a variety of issues affecting reproductive health and access to health services. Below is some of the testimony we have submitted:

    • November 2014 – Submitted testimony in opposition to another version of the Heartbeat Bill abortion ban.
    • May 2013—Three hurtful anti-choice provisions inserted into a proposed budget: 1) an attempt to change the method for allocating family planning funds with the goal of defunding Planned Parenthood, 2) an attempt to fund anti-choice “crisis pregnancy centers” with state funds, and 3) a measure meant to regulate abortion providers out of business.
    • April 2012—Attempt to change the method that Ohio uses to allocate family planning funds to clinics around the state with the goal of defunding Planned Parenthood
    • December 2011—“Heartbeat Bill” abortion ban, which would ban abortion once a fetal heartbeat could be detected, which can be as early as six weeks, before many women even know they are pregnant
